Surabaya, September 25, 2025 – The Airlangga University Biomedical Engineering Master’s Program held a graduation ceremony for graduates who had successfully completed their studies. The event was held at the Airlangga University Faculty of Science and Technology Building, with an atmosphere full of warmth and pride.

The official opening was marked by a speech from the Program Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Khusnul Ain, ST, M.Si. In his address, he expressed appreciation for the dedication of the students who had worked hard to complete their studies, emphasizing the crucial role of biomedical engineering graduates in supporting the advancement of health innovations in Indonesia.

On this occasion, the study program bid farewell to five graduates who have officially earned their Master of Engineering (M.T.) degrees, namely:

Syifa Candiki Samatha, S.T., M.T.
Sayyidul Istighfar Ittaqillah, S.T., M.T.
Ghinaa Rihadatul ‘Aisy Farhah, S.Tr.Kes., M.T.
Umaimah Mitsalia Ummi Salwa, S.Tr.T., M.T.

In the feedback session, graduates expressed their gratitude for the guidance of their lecturers and the support of their peers during their studies. They also shared valuable experiences in the research process, class discussions, and the dynamics of thesis writing. As part of their reflections, the graduates offered several strategies to help current students graduate on time, including: Creating a research timeline at the beginning of the semester, actively consulting with advisors, making maximum use of laboratory facilities and research collaborations, and maintaining consistency in working on the thesis little by little. The graduates also emphasized the importance of publication as part of academic achievement. Some of the strategies they shared included:

Start writing articles as soon as the initial research data is obtained.
Read and refer to the latest journals in the field of research.
Divide the writing into small sections to make it easier to organize.
Actively discussing with supervisors and peers to get feedback.
The graduation ceremony was solemn, closing with a prayer and a photo session with the graduates, lecturers, and invited guests. With this achievement, the UNAIR Biomedical Engineering Master’s Program hopes that graduates can continue to work and bring pride to their alma mater on the national and international stage, especially in the field of health technology innovation.
